While Heroes was shut out of the Golden Globe nominations last week, Milo Ventimiglia believes the show can shake off its sophomore slump
Checking in with Milo VentimigliaSOURCEWhat’s Milo Ventimiglia doing during the writers’ strike? Working, actually. He’s promoting AE Winter Tales, the surprisingly clever Claymation web series he and partner Russ Cundiff produced for American Eagle Entertainment. (Ventimiglia, Kristen Bell, Pete Wentz, Lil John, and Friday Night Lights’ Adrianne Palicki narrate the five festive shorts on ae.com.) He’s also shooting roles in two films, and, yes, thanks to last Thursday’s Heroes-less Golden Globe nominations, will be asked by EW.com to address the show’s best drama series snub. Happy holidays!
I was lucky enough to meet Milo last night at the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival in Los Angeles! He was nothing but incredibly charming! Thanks, Milo!I’ve added 7 shots from the event into the gallery. Enjoy!
HEROES star MILO VENTIMIGLIA was mobbed by teenage girls when he made a surprise visit to a school in Minnesota. The 30-year-old was surrounded by awe-struck students when he arrived at Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington to research a role in a new film.Ventimiglia, who plays Peter Petrelli in the hit show, toured the campus as part of his preparations for forthcoming movie Blades Of Glory, which is based on the school’s ice hockey team. The actor also made time to watch a hockey game during his visit, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.SOURCE
I received an interesting email from M80 and NBC/Sprint about the “Create Your Hero” campaign. “Create Your Hero” is an web-based promotion presented by Sprint in which Heroes fans are called upon to vote on various physical and personality attributes for the creation of a new hero. There will be one male hero and one female hero, created from the culmination of the most voted attributes. The new heroes will come to life in an original, live action series, which will run exclusively on NBC.com. This online campaign gives Heroes fans a chance to create a new hero that will be featured in a new series of live action webisodes next year and the possible inclusion of the character into the show itself. Users can vote each week through December 17th, either online at http://assets.m80im.com/resources/sprintheroes/ or via text exclusive on Sprint phones (HEROES text 6789), to choose all the characteristics of this new hero.

Milo Ventimiglia says he has no clues about fate of characters on NBC’s ‘Heroes’SOURCENEW YORK: Milo Ventimiglia once again saved the world on NBC’s “Heroes.” Now what?”It’s funny how that always falls on my shoulders,” Ventimiglia says.In the second season finale, Ventimiglia’s character, Peter Petrelli, destroyed a virus capable of annihilating most of mankind while Nathan Petrelli, Peter’s high-flying brother, appeared to be assassinated at a press conference.Ventimiglia isn’t sure if Nathan (played by Adrian Pasdar) is dead.”I really hope he’s not going anywhere,” Ventimiglia told The Associated Press during a telephone interview Wednesday. “That would be really disappointing to me to lose a brother and an amazing scene partner. I’m sure it’s all going to work out the way it’s supposed to.”
Yesterday GQ celebrated “Men of the Year 2007″ in Los Angeles. Milo was at this event and you can already view pictures of him here here.
