Controversial ‘Berserker’ contest opensBy Mark Langshaw, Gaming/Comics ReporterTop Cow and DiVide Pictures have opened a contest to give readers the opportunity to be killed on the pages of a future issue of new IP Berserker.The winner of the controversial prize will have their likeness translated to the book’s pages by artist Jeremy Haun.They will also receive a limited edition copy of the first issue signed by the illustrator, along with writer Rick Loverd and Heroes actor Milo Ventimiglia, who is credited as producer of the series.Berserker follows the story of Farris and Aaron, two men struggling to come to terms with their Norse God heritage. Both characters possess superhuman strength, power and endurance, but are unable to tell friend from foe once they “serk out”.Fans can enter the competition for free via Top Cow’s website or the Comic Book Resources blog. Entries must be submitted before midnight on July 15, with winners selected at random during a draw at the Comic-Con International exhibition in San Diego.Berserker #1 is available in comic stores now.You can enter the contest HERE.
