Vinnie’s encounter with Milo
Today my friend Lisa and I Met Milo and his heroes co-star, Masi Oka at a Heroes Season 2 DVD signing that took place in Sydney, Australia. It. Was. AWESOME! Masi was heaps nice, and asked us how our day was going, and I, being stupidly unselfish, got Milo to say Happy Birthday to my sister (who LOVES him but unfortunately couldn’t be there), while I recorded it on my camera! He was SOOOO cute!
Nat & Becky’s encounter with Milo
We were visiting my Uncle in California, and my mum was driving us down a street on the way there, and we were looking out of the windows because we were excited about being in California (We live in England) and there was this guy taking out the rubbish in only his tracksuit bottoms. He was on my side, and I stared at him, before saying to Nat (who was looking out of the other window) that he looked like Milo Ventimiglia. She looked out of my window and started screaming “IT IS IT IS IT IS!!!!” I joined in, and then screamed at my mum to stop the car. She did, knowing how much we fangirl obsess over him, and we jumped out of the car, and ran towards him. He looked up, looked slightly scared because we were still squealing “IT’S MILO VENTIMIGLIA!!!!!!!” and sort of backed away. Then my friend (Who was desperate to get to him) tripped over a bush. I stopped to help her, and Milo, (Who’s garden we were now in) frowned, and said “That was my favourite bush!” We sort of stopped and looked at him, and then stood up. My friend apologised (In a slightly higher voice than usual) for tripping over his bush, and he said it was alright, it wasn’t damaged. He’s a really nice guy, (even if he does have a favourite bush) and we got his autograph and my mum took a photo of me with him, then my friend with him, and then both of us with him. It was a great day!
Laura’s encounter with Milo
My encounter happened in Dec. of ’04. At our winter assembly, we have this make-a-wish thing. The wish of our ASB president was to meet Milo. Our vice principal said, ‘Unfortunately, he can’t be here, but hes on the phone.” So he handed her the phone, and she was talking. All of a sudden, he comes walking down the back of the amphitheater! Of course, every girl there was screaming! When the assembly was over, he stayed, and of course all the girls had their camera phones out. Unfortunately, I had an old school phone without a camera, so I didn’t get a picture with him. Maybe before I graduate, he’ll visit us again!
Xine’s encounter with Milo
I met Milo 2 days ago at the San Diego Comic Con Convention. My best friend and I were walking down this hall… and he was walking down going the other direction… and neither of us were paying attention to where we were walking and we both nearly crashed straight in to each other… but my friend distracted me and I stopped moving and he walked right on past. It was kind of funny. Then there was his panel for his new show Heroes… and he was there. Someone asked him where he got his shirt… and Milo got up, took it off, and threw it at her. It was hott. Then the panel was over and we went up for autographs. My best friend got his last autograph. It was lame. Haha. But he patted me on the head and said, “Sorry sweety. Hey, weren’t you the one I almost ran in to in the hall?” and I said yes, and then he said bye and walked off. It was nice. Haha. But I still don’t have his autograph.
Rachel’s encounter with Milo
I met Milo Ventimiglia when he was in New Orleans filming the movie “Stay Alive”. I’ve lived in New Orleans all 15 years of my existence and I love going out to watch movies being filmed. I went to a friends house one day and she told me a movie was filming down her street. We walked down there to see what was going on. That’s when I saw Milo Ventimiglia leaning against one of the buildings obviously waiting for his turn on camera. I pretty much flipped out and it sort of caught his attention. So, he began to walk over to me – which only made me more excited. He came over and we talked a little before he had to go shoot his scene. He’s a very sweet, kind of shy guy. I asked him how he was doing and how Alexis was doing and he was real polite and carried on a conversation with me. He said he was enjoying his stay in the city and that he would like to bring some friends down here when he visited. This is before the hurricane, so who knows when he’ll ever come back. The movie actually wrapped filming only a week or so before Katrina. Lucky dog – he got out. So anyway, I got a picture with him and he was real shiny about taking one with me. He’s a great guy really, I hope others have had such a positive encounter with him as I have.
Priscilla’s encounter with Milo
Milo lived on my street and we grew up going to the same schools. He taught my big sis a funny way to dive in pools. To this day, we still call it the “Milo Dive.” His sister Laurel is a sweetheart. She was always smiling. I never met the folks.
I was on track with his girlfriend in high school. I was also in classes with all of his drama acting partners like Allie Burningham and others. Milo was also in the play Dracula (co-starring my big sis Josie) while attending high school with me and my sisters. The week after the play, I walked by him in the amphitheatre while he was hanging a banner from a ladder. I called up to him, “Hey Milo! You were awesome in Dracula.” He smiled, said thanks, and if I recall correctly he said, “One day I’m gonna’ be famous.” He’s a talent to be reckoned with and a truly nice guy.
Dumah4′s encounter with Milo
I was in Los Angeles for the Oscars and I saw Milo in his car on the way to my hotel. He waved and said that I looked awesome. Hayden Panettiere was there with him too and she gave me a great big bear hug. It was great.
